After years of exploring the island and building meaningful relationships within the community, Rae created Hawaiʻi Island Insider Tours to give visitors a more personal way to experience Hawaiʻi. Our family went on the tour with Rae and had the BEST time! Not only did he give us tons of info about the big island but he took us to all the best spots, we even got lucky enough to see the volcano erupt. Rae also had snacks and drinks for our whole crew! He kept it fun and interesting even for the littles we had on board. 10/10!

What a wonderful day spent exploring the island with Rae. He picked us up outside the cruise port and greeted us with gorgeous handmade leis AND Hawaiian snacks on snacks. Born and raised on the island, he is very knowledgeable on the sites. He customized the tours according to what we wanted to do and got us back to our ship with plenty of time to spare. WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL!!! Highly recommend

You won’t find a better tour guide than Rae on the island! His love of the island comes through all his stories and he’s so incredibly knowledgeable. His van was excellent and he provided amazing service. We were a large group of 11 and he never rushed us through stops and gave us lots of options as the day went along. He was a great person to spend the day with and we felt very taken care of. We got to see so much of the island in one day! I would recommend his services to anyone.
