Ray did a great job of showing us the sights of the Hilo area. He was very patient and accommodating of whatever we needed. He provided snacks and water, and told us many stories about the area that only a true native Hawaiian would know. His van is brand new and well air conditioned, with very comfortable seats. We would highly recommend him for your visit to Hawaii!

We had a great day on our Hawaiian Island Insider (Hii) Hilo Cruise Shore Excursion tour with Raymond. He brought us to Akaka and Rainbow Falls, a local fruit stand where we tried fresh pineapple, Hawaiian Island Candies & Muana Loa macadamia nut factory, the King Kamehameha statue, and drove us by the peace park and on Banyan tree lane. All the while Raymond provided local stories, history and insights. The van itself is new and extremely comfortable with plenty of windows for viewing the sights. Raymond also ensured we arrived back to port on time, which is very important when on a cruise ship! Highly recommend this tour and Raymond as a guide! Hii-tours also states they donate 30% back to the community, which is very admirable. Highly recommend!

Absolutely the best car rental service ever. Everything was on time, super clean, and service was amazing. Hawaii island insider tours was very communicative and kind enough to allow us to pick up the car late at the airport and drop it off later than expected. Would only go with them!!!

So happy I booked! I was traveling from the mainland and needed a ride from Kona Airport. I was dealing/worried with weather issues and flight delays, and they were incredibly responsive to all of my concerns in a timely manner. It really helped ease my travel stress knowing someone reliable was communicating with me throughout the process. They got me to my destination safely and made the whole experience smooth and easy.
